Unlike our editor, Ligaya Mishan, I have yet to finish “2666” and probably won't before the month's end. You can't talk about 2666 without mentioning the book design. Roberto Bolaño died shortly after presenting the first draft of 2666 to his publisher, Anagrama. It was reported that he was not completely finished writing or editing the novel at the time of his death. When I read it, I will be completely absorbed by it.
